There has been some rumors going around (wonder where they came from?) that Mudgee SCUBA is closing, this is certainly not the case. Unfortunately our print business is closing its shop front in Church St but we are continuing to run Mudgee SCUBA mostly from home. As our customers realise Mudgee SCUBA operates totally mobile as we have always done, lets face it the coasts 300km away.
We have also now moved our weekly training session to Sunday mornings 930am - 12pm due to the large numbers at the pool mid-week, currently there are almost 10 open waters students diving weekly so its heaps of fun, anybodies welcome and air fills can be supplied at the pool.
Next 4 trips are,
Neslon Bay 21-22 Feb
Forster 21-22 Mar
Nelson Bay 18 - 19 April
Sydney Deep & Wreck diving 16-17 May
With lots of small trips in between, so join our newly formed Facebook group to keep up to date!
I would also like to wish Grant & Michelle Willetts (ex Mudgee SCUBA Divemaster) all the best with his Mudgee Dive and Travel Club, it is a shame he feels the need to be so arrogant & nasty with his attitude towards Mudgee SCUBA, the more divers about, the more buddies we all have.

So, with a long absence from the net Mudgee SCUBA is back up and running, I hope to get lots more info up in the coming weeks.
Since we lost our site we have been on so many fantastic trips including the highlight Ocean Trek in December which had nearly 25 Mudgee diviers on board what a great time we had, the next BIG trip (Ocean & Earth) is in only a week over to Nelson Bay but with a bit of a difference as we are staying at a farm stay, the only place big enough to accommodate the 25 plus crowd! which includes some 14 open water students WOW who would have thought the a dive shop in Mudgee would have those numbers and enough divers to need 3 instructors on a weekend away.

We now have groups away almost every 2nd weekend and diving is just awesome at the moment with 30 metres vis on dives a few days ago.

The following article of events was written by one of our new Divemasters following our fantastic Deep & Wreck trip that took place in September 2007. So succesful was this trip we have scheduled another for the 3rd eekend of November.
I would personally like to congratulate and thank all 5 divers who have proved their skills and made the experience so rewarding for me as the instructor, especially Spiro for writing these notes and providing much entertainment over the few days.
